A fan favorite on the equine sports circuit, Monaco’s Jumping International will take place over three days, on June 27th, 28th, and 29th. An event that, like every year, comes together in a flash.
This year, Monaco Jumping International is celebrating its 14th edition. Scheduled on June 27,28 and 29, this horse show is for show jumping what the Monte Carlo Grand Prix is for motorsports, and what the Monaco Masters is for Tennis. A must-see event that is renowned for its excellence. And one of the most prestigious stages of the Longines Global Champions Tour, the world circuit of 5-star show jumping competitions.
One short week for install
The Longines Pro-Am Cup is particularly awaited by Monegasques and all riding enthusiasts. The event brings together experienced amateur teams and international professional riders for friendly but high-level competition. Everything necessary to enchant the Jumping’s eager public, especially since it is sponsored by the young bride, Charlotte Casiraghi, herself an experienced rider!
What is less well known, however, is that the organization of this event is a genuine tour de force. Two tracks and two imposing tent structures are installed on the southern harbor dock, while the Antoine I dock accommodates the stables in a space where, less than a month ago, the Formula 1 Grand Prix was taking place! The Automobile Club (ACM) must dismantle all the structures surrounding the 3,337 km circuit in three weeks, leaving a week for the organizers of Jumping to install their infrastructure. The window is so tight that the ACM has asked that the International Jumping Monte Carlo be shifted a week for next year’s edition.
