NASA plans film and exciting meetings in Monaco

For its 60th anniversary, NASA has planned film screenings and exciting meetings with former astronauts in Monaco.

And for its anniversary, NASA will come to Monaco and offer them the possibility of amazing discoveries.

As part of the second edition of the “Pioneers and Innovators of Our Time” event, Oscar-nominated and Emmy-winning Rory Kennedy’s documentary film “Above and Beyond: NASA’s Journey to Tomorrow” will preview at a free public screening (on reservation).

The opportunity to discover in detail about the work of NASA and the influence of the space conquest on our lives is huge. Rory Kennedy is the niece of US President John Fitzgerald Kennedy, who has contributed to the importance of space conquest and therefore NASA.

The screening will be followed by a panel discussion with exciting guests, who flew to space in their time:

  • Captain Robert “Hoot” Gibson, retired NASA astronaut, who flew aboard the Columbia, Atlantis, Endeavor shuttles
  • General Charles “Charlie” Bolden, former director of NASA, and astronaut
  • Dr. George “Pinky” Nelson, American physicist, astronomer, science educator and former NASA astronaut
  • Dr. Margaret “Rhea” Seddon, surgeon, retired NASA astronaut and crew member of the Space Shuttle
  • Captain Michael López-Alegria, NASA veteran in three Space Shuttle missions and an ISS mission.
  • As well as other actors of the space conquest.
