The New National Museum of Monaco participated in the second edition of FLAT (Art Book Fair) in Turin from 2 to 4 November 2018.
The participation in this essential art book event was an opportunity for the NMNM to present, as a publisher, a selection of its publications designed with and by artists, most of which are now considered as rare books such as The After Nature Card, Designing Dreams, Celebration of Leon Bakst or Monacopolis.
On this occasion, the Museum also presented limited editions of the publication produced by Cloak, Nelson Nelson’s 2016 installation on the premises of UBS Monaco SA.
A copy of this publication has been added to the Giorgio Maffei collection held at the GAM in Turin, since the selection committee of Fondazione CRT has acquired it, along with 58 other publications, in the context of the Fair.
The publication of books is a major activity of the museum, which helps to publicize its exhibitions and its collection and to promote its image internationally.
