As part of the declaration “Towards Monaco without AIDS”, Fight Aids Monaco, in collaboration with the Monaco Government and the Monaco City Council, recently signed the launch of a communication campaign on HIV prevention.
This signature is part of the international movement, “Prevention Access Campaign” # U = U. The theme of this communication campaign “U = U #Undetectable = Untransmissible” is declined in Monaco in “I = I / Undetectable = Intransmissible”.
Thus, after AS Monaco Football Club, AS Monaco Basket also supported this prevention campaign. Last game, at the Monaco-Dijon (89-71), counting for the 13th day of Jeep Elite, the Roca Boys all donned a t-shirt with the logo of “I = I / Undetectable = Intransmissible” at heating.
For the record, two Monegasque associations involved in the fight against AIDS, the Monegasque Red Cross and Amade, as well as two medical experts, Mr. Gervais Dionne, co-discoverer of 3TC (one of the primary molecules of HIV treatment) and Dr. Bruno Taillan, Vice President of Fight Aids Monaco and Internal Medicine, Hematologist at CHPG.
The “I = I” campaign was officially launched on Saturday, December 1st, World AIDS Day.
