The concert and events hall located on the Terrasses de Fontvieille has just announced its upcoming concerts. Between energizing electro-pop, head bobbing eighties alt-rock, and bassy rap, the Léo Ferré hall will testify to its eclecticism in the months to come. Details below
One of the Principality’s most versatile cultural facilities, the Espace Léo Ferré hosted a flawless run of musical showings in 2018. It held several concerts (including those of Hollysiz, Brigitte, Lavilliers), a handful of aperitifs dedicated to local artists, and various events such as the Pierre Rabhi conference Ary Abitan’s comedic show. The venue’s offerings punctuated a rich cultural season, allowing Monegasques to discover a variety of contemporary waves.

Up until the summer, the hall will continue to shed light on new trends and play host to diverse audiences. On February 1st, it will receive the 13th annual Monaco Boxing Challenge. The tournament will include the participation of boxers from both Team Monaco Boxing and AS Monaco Boxing. To the public’s delight, the evening will see three French championship belts be disputed. Later in the year, on March 29th, the stage will be set for Hyphen Hyphen to make a much anticipated Monegasque stop along their latest tour. The promising French electro-pop stars will play tracks from their first album and back up their reputation as true entertainers. On June 1st, it is the alternative group Les Négresses Vertes who will whip up a storm of nostalgia on the Rocher, with their 80s homage. They will be followed by the rap duo Jahneration, who combines the rhythms of Jamaica and an uncompromising flow. The boys will be programmed outdoors, on the Port of Monaco as part of the Fête de la Musique.
