Thanks to an agreement between the Association of the Order of Malta and the Cardio-Thoracic Center of Monaco, little Alexandra was able to benefit from a heart operation.
As part of an agreement between the Association of the Order of Malta and the Cardio-Thoracic Center of Monaco, which today has 20 surgical operations, a Romanian girl has just been operated by Dr. François Bourlon.
The two-year-old child had congenital heart disease. The intervention made it possible to implant a prosthesis closing the abnormal communication between the cardiac cavities. The little girl left the cardio-thoracic centre with an adequate ultrasound control.

Dr. Bourlon reassured the president, Jean Kerwat, and a delegation of the Order of Malta on the state of health of the young patient who returned home with her parents.
