Next November, we will celebrate the Princess Grace of Monaco’s 90th birthday. To mark the coup, many events are planned throughout the year, starting with the exhibition called “Grace Kelly 90 Years.” The expo brings together 50 works by American artists who have paid tribute to the actress who illuminated American silver screens throughout the 1950s.
To Catch a Thief, Rear Window, High Noon, The Swan… The American actress turned princess of Monaco in 1956, marked Hollywood with these multiple films that have since become cult classics. The 50s are highlighted in this homage exhibition that is part of the princess’ 90th birthday celebrations.
Unpublished works
Among select excerpts from her cult films, visitors will discover sculptures, paintings, and unpublished works by American artists that will be presented especially for the occasion. It should be noted that Adriana Karembeu is the sponsor of the exhibition, with the participation of Stéphane Bern. In addition, another simultaneous exhibition will be on display in the Christian Dior museum in Granville (Normandy). Nearly 90 dresses from the famous fashion house, handwritten letters, portraits, and sketches will be exhibited until November.
