On Thursday, April 18, 2019, at the headquarters of the International Organization of La Francophonie (OIF) in Paris, Mr. Christophe Steiner, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Principality of Monaco in France, delivered, by hand, to Mrs. Louise Mushikiwabo, Secretary-General of La Francophonie, the letter appointing him Personal Representative of the Sovereign Prince and the Prince’s Government to the Permanent Council of La Francophonie.
During her audience with Ms Mushikiwabo, Steiner reaffirmed the Principality of Monaco’s commitment to the IOF, its values and actions.
This commitment will be all the more tangible this year as the Principality of Monaco hosts the 36th session of the Francophonie Ministerial Conference (CMF), on 30 and 31 October 2019, preceded by a session of the Permanent Council of La Francophonie.
