A leader from one end to the other of the Monaco round of the FIA Formula E championship, the pilot of the Franco-Chinese DS-Techetah team has masterfully imposed his electric car this Saturday.
In pole position thanks to the three-place penalty received by British driver Oliver Rowland (Nissan-e.DAMS), who had set the fastest qualifying time earlier, the defending champion did not hesitate to convert his advantage into victory.

Although he was constantly on the heels of a revengeful Rowland, the former F1 driver managed to keep the lead during the 51 laps of the Monaco GP (1,765 km), cutting the finish line with a margin of only two tenths!

Already the winner of the e-Prix of Sanya (China) on March 23, he is the first to total two successes in this exciting season 5 which had until then eight different winners. This strengthens his chances of winning a second consecutive title in two months in New York.

Behind Rowland, it is a confident Felipe Massa who climbs on the 3rd step. The Brazilian, a beginner in Formula E, offers the Monegasque manufacturer Venturi a podium at home.
