Between tradition and modernity: this is how the new home jersey of the Monaco club was presented at the club’s shop on July 3rd. With the historic return of the Kappa as the club’s official equipment supplier for the next 6 years, the jersey retains its traditional colors with dynamic touches like the diamond print that refers to the coat of arms of Monaco.
Monegasque football fans, here is the brand new home shirt nicknamed “Kombat™” – a kit that marks the return of Kappa as the equipment supplier and the club’s major partner for the next six seasons. Under the watchful eye of Oleg Petrov, the players donned the 2019/2020 red and white jersey, which, hopefully, will bring luck to Cesc Fabregas and his teammates. “Kappa is a glorious page in the history of the club and we are confident that these strong memories will help us to look to the future with success,” said the Vice President of the Principality’s club on the official website.
The away jersey unveiled soon
Designed by Princess Grace in 1961, the diagonal white and red are well placed on this jersey that respects the culture of the club and should appeal to purists. Available for sale starting yesterday, prices begin at 79€. Regarding the away jersey, return to the website on July 15 to discover it, while the third iteration will be unveiled at the beginning of August. Leonardo Jardim’s players will wear the new kit this weekend in the first friendly match against Cercle Brugge (July 6th, 7 pm, in Roeselare).
