A star among stars. The John Legend concert scheduled this Saturday, July 26th, in the Salle aux Étoiles as part of the Monegasque Red Cross Gala. Prepare to swing!
The Monegasque Red Cross Gala is always a highly anticipated and festive event. For each edition, international stars congregate for a moment of musical communion with their adoring public. This Saturday, July 26th will not be forgotten thanks to the concert by the actor/singer John Legend, which begins at 10:30 pm in the Salle aux Étoiles after the dinner (which begins at 8 pm). An American artist who makes a habit of playing to the audience and who is known for soulful melodies and crooning R’n’B hits.
A multi-faceted artist
Legendary 40-year-old John Legend first sang gospel music in churches before embarking on a widely acclaimed first album, Get Lifted, in 2004, in which well-known rappers such as Kanye West and Snoop Dogg featured on. He trends toward an emotive soulful style with mass appeal and is not shy to contribute to various projects like film soundtracks that have marked a decade: Django Unchained, Selma, with the song Glory that received the Golden Globe, then the Oscar of the Best original song. He would also contribute to the film La La Land by Damien Chazelle where he also sings (including the title Start a Fire). A multifaceted artist who will make the Monegasque public dance for sure!
