“Monaco” is the name of the latest collection of Indian designer Rahul Mishra. Inspired by a trip to the Principality, he presented the collection’s elegant and colorful models at the most recent Indian Fashion Week.
Monaco shined during the latest Indian Fashion Week! The Principality was the inspiration of Indian designer Rahul Mishra for his new collection presented at the end of July during the Fashion Week held in New Delhi. Rightly titled “Monaco.” the runway show carried its spectators through a colorful parade of designs thanks to a realistic street decor, reproducing the Rock’s Mediterranean atmosphere. Last year, Rahul Mishra was awarded the Ethical and Sustainable Fashion Award at Monte Carlo Fashion Week. This year, it is in collaboration with the representative office of Monaco in India that the young designer has revealed designs that have already met with clear success.
A crossroads between India and Monaco
The result of this meeting between India and the Principality? Floral prints for both men and women, long, airy strapless dresses, a clever blend of inspirations between the creator’s childhood village and a striking journey through the Rock. Short dresses are also part of the collection as well as more traditional saris in embroidered silk. A refined body of work and pieces as original as they are timeless that will undoubtedly seduce Monaco as much as New Delhi.
