The Monaco Yacht Show has its headquarters at Port Hercule. Among the exhibitors, Sinot Yacht Architecture came to present Aqua, the first superyacht running on hydrogen. A technological feat that comes together with ultra-luxury.
The kickoff of the Monaco Yacht Show took place this past Wednesday. The wave of the most beautiful yachts in the world has therefore begun in the Hercule harbor to the delight of the expected 30,000 visitors and 160 exhibitors. An exceptional show that has reached its 28th edition and will be open until September 28th. And if 125 of the most beautiful boats in the world already arrived in the port, others that are just as impressive, are still at the project stage. The Monaco Yacht Show, an international meeting place for luxury yachting, is therefore the best place to unveil these concepts to the world. Among them is Aqua, the first yacht running on hydrogen.
The alliance of luxury and technology at the service of ecology
A 112-meter superyacht that wants to reconcile progress with bettering the environment, luxury and clean energy. Designed by Sinot Yacht Architecture in collaboration with Lateral Naval Architect, Aqua uses liquefied hydrogen to power its electrical circuit. A clean system that will not detract from performance or comfort on board, since it should reach a speed of 17 knots and has a sleek design and futuristic lines offering a spacious living space and multiple benefits. A spa, wellness center, and gym overlooking the ocean and glass prow, Aqua should accommodate nearly 14 people and 31 crew members on board. A dazzling superyacht whose launch will undoubtedly be eagerly awaited.
