Claude Lelouch’s reveals teaser and the date of “Le Grand rendez-vous” film with Charles Leclerc

The short film featuring F1 driver Charles Leclerc, shot some weeks ago on the streets of the Principality, will be broadcast on Saturday June 13th on Canal+.

A few days ago, Claude Lelouch shared on social media the trailer of his latest short film, “Le Grand rendez-vous”. It will be broadcast on Canal+ on June 13th at 9 p.m. during a tribute to the French director.

Filming on the Rock

Shooting took place in the Principality on May 24th, the date on which the Monaco Grand Prix was due to take place, cancelled this year due to the coronavirus epidemic. “Le Grand rendez-vous” was made as a tribute to one of Lelouch’s previous short films from 1976, shot in Paris, entitled “C’était un rendez-vous”.

More than forty years later, the French director recreated a version set in Monaco featuring Charles Leclerc, a Formula One driver for Scuderia Ferrari. He was at the wheel of the Ferrari SF90 Stradale.
