Monaco to welcome prestigious auctions

From July 19th to 21st, the international auction house Artcurial will set up in the iconic Hôtel Hermitage for three exceptional sales.

The Artcurial auction house has announced that it will open “its programme of prestigious sales on the Riviera“ in July, with several auctions taking place following the themes of jewellery, vintage Hermès pieces and watches – including one category specially dedicated to women’s watches. This news should come as welcome news to international collectors and auction enthusiasts.

Watches, jewellery and collectable cars

Artcurial will take up its summer residence in the Hôtel Hermitage, located on Square Beaumarchais. In addition to watches, Art Deco jewellery and luxury leather goods, customers will also be able to treat themselves to rare models of cars. Among the 80 collector vehicles on offer will be a 1957 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Roadster, estimated at between €800,000 and €1 million, as well as a 1939 Bugatti Type 57 Cabriolet Vanvooren, estimated at between €600,000 and €800,000.

The pieces will be on display at Artcurial in Paris from Tuesday June 30th to Thursday July 2nd, then on Friday 17th and Saturday July 18th at the Hôtel Hermitage in Monaco.
