SNCF: two worksites disrupt the line between Nice and Ventimiglia
Travellers should be aware of the various changes that await them on this route, which is the busiest in France.
As part of the maintenance of the railway network and its security, SNCF Réseau wishes to modernise the railway line between Nice and Ventimiglia.
Until 2 April, a reinforcement of the Villefranche-sur-Mer tunnel and the renewal of the track in the Cimiez tunnel will affect rail transport services.
What impact on traffic?
Until the end of this work, trains will run on a single line between Nice and Eze-sur-Mer. Travellers must board and alight on the same platform at Nice-Riquier, Villefranche-sur-Mer and Beaulieu-sur-Mer (on platform 1 until 23 January and on platform 2 from 24 January to 2 April).
