New chairpersons for the Committee on Social Aims and Other Matters, and for the Education, Youth and Sport committee.

Two new Chairpersons for two Committees. Prince Albert II’s appointment of Christophe Robino as Government Counsellor left the position of Chair of the Social Aims and Other Matters committee vacant. On April 25, the elected members of the National Council elected Marc Mourou to succeed Christophe Robino.

Marc Mourou therefore stepped down in turn from his position as chair of the Committee on Education, Youth and Sport. President Stéphane Valeri praised the work already carried out by Marc Mourou: “the vast majority of the tenure’s objectives will have been successfully achieved.”

The youngest member of the Assembly, Marine Grisoul, was then elected to replace Marc Mourou. The young woman will therefore launch the 2022-2023 sessions of the National Youth Council.
