Government aid to change your small electronic devices
The subsidy, up to €3,000, is available for Monegasque individuals and companies.
The increase in the price of electricity will have an impact on Monegasque household budgets. A fortnight ago the Minister of State, Pierre Dartout, presented a vast energy management plan with a planned price cap, as a protective measure.
In concrete terms, through this measure the government will help households to acquire less energy-intensive and more efficient appliances. In addition to lowering energy costs, the new energy-efficient equipment has the added benefit of reducing global warming caused by unnecessary energy consumption.
Many appliances are eligible for the subsidy, such as LEDs, inertia radiators, hydro-econometric and thermostatic valves, and multi-sockets. The Government can also help finance certain small insulation projects, as well as the replacement of collective boilers by heat pumps.

Companies and individuals alike should contact the Mission pour la Transition Energétique (Mission for Energy Transition – MTE) to benefit from the subsidies. The organisation can cover up to 30% of the cost of purchasing new equipment, with a maximum subsidy of €3,000. Applying couldn’t be easier: just fill in the form on the site and send it in with the invoices before December 31.
