The Monaco heliport was inaugurated in 1976. Since then, it has become a must for aviation enthusiasts. They can experience flights in standard airplanes, as well as propellor planes, To this day, the Aéro-Club de Monaco remains one of the oldest, most renowned and most exclusive in Europe. Comprising a fleet of R44 helicopters – parked at the heliport – and access to larger aircraft through joint venture agreements, it has everything pilots and flying enthusiasts could ever want.
Every day, the flying club opens its doors to licensed pilots and aviation enthusiasts. Pilots are able to rent one of the Robinson R44 helicopters or access other turbine aircrafts at very competitive prices thanks to agreements made with local operators in the region. Novices in the field will also be able to discover the magic of flying for a day. It doesn’t matter if they are young, old, passionate or just curious. They will have the opportunity to take the controls of a helicopter and enjoy the spectacular views of the Principality during a fifteen-minute flight. Anyone interested can opt for a taster flight. This includes half an hour of theory followed by a thirty-minute flight where an instructor will explain the basics of how to fly a helicopter.
