The singer can sometimes be seen in Jimmy’z nightclub. Bono is the frontman of Irish rock band U2. The band formed in 1976 and is still recording to this day, with a total of 14 albums and 17 world tours completed. Bono – born Paul Hewson – writes all the band’s lyrics, sings and occasionally plays guitar. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2002 along with the group.

He has collaborated throughout his career with a string of famous artists, including Bob Dylan, Ray Charles and Rhianna. The artist has many charity endeavours and is considered one of the world’s best-known “philanthropic performers.”

He has worked on several projects, including non-OECD country debt relief and fighting the AIDS pandemic. He is well-known for rarely being seen without sunglasses – this is due to suffering from glaucoma.
