The Casino Café de Paris is housed in a building as old as the Monte Carlo Casino. Built on the initiative of Charles III and François Blanc, the Café de Paris was formerly known as the Café Divan. After several restorations in the 1930s, the establishment was completely renovated at the end of the 1980s: the style is now that of the Belle Époque, akin to the old Parisian bistros.
The casino, on the other hand, is nothing like the Paris of the 1900s. It is in fact the most modern and innovative casino in the Monégasque resort. Gaming enthusiasts can enjoy nearly 480 slot machines – in which European exclusivities are hidden – but also numerous table games: Black Jack, Ultimate Texas Hold’em Poker, English Roulette or Live Roulette.
Depending on the season, the Casino Café de Paris also offers guests the opportunity to play on its two terraces – open to smokers – with a breathtaking view of the Casino de Monte-Carlo gardens. Open every day from 10 am to 4 am, it is the place where the most important jackpots of the French Riviera can be found, sometimes reaching one million.
