The Rainier III Clinical Gerontology Centre is the centrepiece of the gerontological project set up by the Princely Government in 2003. It provides a range of care adapted to lots of health needs, including advice on how to prevent illness. The following institutions all work in close partnership: the Gerontological Coordination Centre of Monaco, the Speranza-Albert II Centre, and the retirement homes in the Principality (Residences A Qietüdine and Cap Fleuri).
The hospital geriatric sector must also provide palliative care, care for patients suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, and offer oncogeriatric care too.
Located at 1 avenue Pasteur in Monaco, the building has 210 single rooms. Access is via the Princess Grace Hospital Center. Visiting hours may be subject to change.
