Leclerc is the third successive Monegasque driver in the history of Formula 1. He began his career in F1 races with the Sauber team, and in the 2019 season he will perform as part of Scuderia Ferrari. Monaco-native Charles Leclerc began his career at 7 by competing in karting races.
He joined F1 in 2018, racing for the Sauber team. In 2019, he signed with Ferrari, and after 2 victories, finished 4th in the rankings. Ferrari has extended his contract until 2024.
