This second, revised and expanded edition of the “Histoire de Monaco” textbook, published in 2010, is aimed at pupils in Monaco’s classroms, but also at anyone with a close or distant interest in the rich history of the Principality. A territory that is small in size, but large in terms of the place it has occupied in Europe, from the first traces of habitation in prehistoric times to the present day, via the Middle Ages and the Age of Enlightenment.
