Louis Ducruet is the son of Princess Stéphanie and Daniel Ducruet. He holds a bachelor’s degree in sports management from Western Carolina University and has worked for AS Monaco. He is married to Marie Chevallier
He was born on 26 November 1992 at the Princess Grace Hospital in Monaco and spent his childhood in the small winter sports resort of Auron. After obtaining his baccalaureate at the Albert-Premier high school in Monaco, he joined the Skema Business School in Sophia Antipolis.

In 2013, Louis Ducruet took part in the 6,000 km long 4L Trophy car race through France, Spain and Morocco. The money raised from the event was used to purchase school supplies for underprivileged Moroccan children.
He was an international scout for AS Monaco between 2015 and 2019, assisting the club’s vice president Vadim Vasilyev. Louis Ducruet has been co-manager of the company Monadeco with his father since 2016. The nephew of Prince Albert II has also been the President of the Monégasque Esport Federation since January 2020.

In 2020, he signed a two year contract with English club Nottingham Forest and became an international scout. He has settled in the Midlands region of England.
