Milos Raonic was born on 27 December 1990 in Titograd, Yugoslavia (now Podgorica in Montenegro). A Canadian tennis player of Montenegrin origin, he turned professional in 2008. He has won eight singles tournaments on the ATP Tour and his best Grand Slam result was a final at Wimbledon, lost to Andy Murray in 2016.
In 2012, he became the sixth player in history to surpass a thousand aces in one season, after Pete Sampras, Ivo Karlović, John Isner, Andy Roddick and Goran Ivanišević. Reaching world No. 3 in 2016, he was the highest ranked Canadian in singles since the computer rankings in 1973.

The Canadian tennis player has also settled in Monaco, becoming a resident of the Principality in recent years like many of his opponents.

Born in Yugoslavia in what is now Montenegro, his parents of Montenegrin origin moved to Canada before he was 4 years old. His brother and sister and the rest of his family live in Montenegro where he goes once a year. He was in a relationship with Canadian model Danielle Knudson from 2015 to 2018.
