Monaco Classic Week – La Belle Classe

Organised by the Yacht Club de Monaco the Monaco Classic Week – La Belle Classe bears witness to Monaco’s attachment to the sea and its sailing heritage.

Created in 1994, the event brings together in the same port, all types of yachts, big and small, from across the years. Amongst traditional sailboats, 12′ Dinghies, vintage motorboats and motor-yachts, both budding yachters and yacht connoisseurs won’t know where to look. All week, you will be able to experience many traditions and gain an insight into what life is like at sea. Participating in this week means partticipating in one of most important events in classic sailing, with an incredible atmosphere.

Twice a year, almost 150 vessels are brought together to showcase our maritime heritage: traditional sailing boats, vintage motor-yachts and vintage motorboats. Over the years, this event has moved witg the times, but still captures the spirit of the first motorboat meetings in 1904. In other words: the time when the Principality brought together manufacturers from all over the world to attend nautical events.
