Organised under the High Patronage of Prince Albert II, the Monaco International Motor Show (SIAM) was created in 2017. It is held annually in the Principality of Monaco and at the initiative of the company Expo Monaco, itself directed by Nicolas Hesse.
Every year, the Monaco International Motor Show displays all the automobiles on the current market as well as the latest technologies: electric city cars to luxury cars, including concept cars, prototypes, sports and prestige cars or hypercars, innovative equipment and technologies. As part of the event, major car brands are exhibited such as Lamborghini, Tesla, or Ferrari. The Monégasque car manufacturers Venturi and Tecno Monte-Carlo are also present, as are the Royal Rolls Royce Clubs Monaco and Bentley Drivers Club Monaco. In addition, since 2020, motor sport is also part of the show with a new area dedicated to teams, sponsors and drivers.
What’s special about the Monaco International Motor Show? Environmentally conscious, the show focuses on promoting renewable energies with electric cars and hydrogen hybrids being displayed as well as luxury cars, This environmental aspect of the show enabled the Prince Albert II Foundation to support the event and the commitment of partners such as EDF, Michelin, the Compagnie Monégasque de Banque and the Monte-Carlo SBM from the very first edition. Visitors can also benefit from a pass allowing them to try out the cars on display in the streets of the Principality and on the Grand Prix circuit.
