Johan, 24, spends his days in Nice on the French Riviera, supported by Celeste, an aging former actress. Scenes take place between his house, the beaches and his friend Kurt’s flat. A life of leisure and luxury, but the memories of his adolescence haunt him. The sense of threat is growing stronger. Desire and fear are controlled but powerless in this seemingly perfect and glamorous world. He feels an extreme emptiness and often remembers his destructive relationship as a teenager. A romance that left deep marks on him. No one in his world is genuine. No one wants to be real and everything and everyone around him feels like they have chosen a life after glamour. He feels almost like a prostitute in front of Celeste with the life he leads.
