The Théâtre des Variétés can seat 350 spectators and is intended to be mainly used by Monaco’s many cultural associations.
It is the venue for numerous cultural events in the fields of theatre, dance, music and film. A few months after its inauguration in 1993, the Théâtre des Variétés hosted the 10th World Festival of Amateur Theatre. Nowadays, it puts on amateur as well as professional dramatics, hosting plays by the Quartet or Francis Huster. Conferences, meetings, symposia and classical music concerts are also part of the core activities at the Théâtre des Variétés .
